PPC In Tough Times, LinkedIn Ads, London's only PPC focused Event - PPC Live UK & more
Hello!๐๐พ
Welcome to issue 2 of the PPCChat Roundup Newsletter. Welcome to my new subscribers - your support means the world!
This week I have got some more very interesting news about the Podcast, a new event I have coming up and...
#PPCChat Roundup Podcast๐๏ธ
Since the last issue, two podcast episdodes have been released. The first one was on Managing PPC in Tough times and then the latest one was on LinkedIn Adveritsing in 2022 co-hosted by My LinkedIn himself AJ Wilcox.
I know prices are going up here in the UK here and it sounds like we are seeing similar cases in the US. Julie Bacchini (host of the #PPCChat Twitter chat) shared a diagram showing a research done on which would be the first things to go if the prices went to high.
Those who are in any of these industries should definitely watch out. But as was very accurately pointed out by Gil Gilder we shouldn't be in a rush to cut off spend just yet.
Gil Gildner on Twitter: "A3. We're seeing smaller/weaker advertisers scale back on top of funnel/awareness spend. It's a classic issue that happens in every time of economic turmoil. It gives heavier advertisers a leg up, and they come through on top every time. #ppcchatโฆ https://t.co/pJ3zfNgYKa" โ twitter.com

Last week when we came to the topic of LinkedIn Ads - tips were shared on what the best ad types were being used, what different mixes of creatives are advisable to be used, and of course some frustrations, like it's lack of bulk editing. AJ here reveals that at B2Linked - they have actually created a bulk editing feature whic is fantastic. Another great tip he shared was about Single Image Retargeting.

So go check those two episodes out and if you have listened to even just 30 seconds of it please also do go leave a rating/review.

I am going to be sharing platform updates I am hearing about - but not from the point of view of the platform but from the point of view of our very passionate and concerned Paid Search specialists. Here's one of Google from one of my favourites - Mr Google Shopping Kirk Williams aka PPCKirk.
